MEGADYNE Introduces Line of Reduced Stick Bipolar Forceps
Highly Polished Tips Reduce Tissue Adherence and Provides Superior Coagulation and Dessication for a Variety of Surgical Applications
Draper, Utah – March 6, 2007 – MEGADYNE introduced today a new line of reduced stick bipolar forcep electrodes. The highly polished tips of the forceps are engineered to help reduce tissue adherence. MEGADYNE is an end-to-end, full solution electrosurgical provider, offering the latest technology in products ranging from a generator to a full line of electrosurgical accessories.
The bipolar forcep electrodes also reduce the risk of injury to the patient as they limit stray current, common with monopolar electrosurgery. The reusable forceps are available in six styles: Scoville-Greenwood, Jeweler, Cushing, Adson, Semkin, Gerald, and are powered by MEGADYNE’s Mega Power Electrosurgical Generator, and come with a disposable cable, adding to the convenience of the product.
Reusable and durable, the forceps are designed for multiple uses. Additional features of the bipolar forcep electrodes:
