Advantages Of The Electrosurgical Bipolar Forceps

  • The instrument’s highly polished tips reduce tissue adherence. Substantial re-bleeding and scarring are common results of tissue adherence during surgery. However, the polished tips of the bipolar forceps reduce damaging adherence and promote the safe, healthy, healing of incisions.
  • Light closing force causes less fatigue over time. When utilizing instruments during a prolonged surgical procedure, the brachioradialis muscle in a surgeon’s hand is scientifically proven to show great amounts of fatigue. With forcep closing assistance a surgeon can withstand longer surgeries while avoiding the risks and safety hazards that result from fatigue.
  • All electrosurgical bipolar forceps are made of lightweight, highly durable stainless steel and are coated with a nylon material that resists abrasion and provides superb insulation. These features prolong the life of the tool through multiple uses.
  • Precision tip alignment aids fine control and greatly reduces the risks of user error or equipment malfunction. This precision also reduces the threat of removing coagulum from sealed vessels.
